- We simply invoice you at a flat hourly rate for each hour the employee works

Absolutely. We screen and qualify candidates based on your criteria. We will only present individuals that meet these strict criteria, and who speak English very well. Additionally, you will perform the final interview, and you will be the decision maker.
LittleOcean employees are actually paid very well. Our employees are typically paid a wage that is within the “Upper Middle Income” range. The cost of living is dramatically less in the Philippines, and thus a person lives very well in the Philippines at a wage that seems very low here.
Additionally, Little Ocean employees are provided for Health insurance, Retirement plan (similar to 401K), and paid Holiday, Sick, and Vacation – all paid for by Little Ocean. It is a comprehensive and stable compensation plan.
So, while you strengthen your business and poise it for growth by hiring a cost-effective overseas employee, you are providing a rare, well-paying opportunity to someone in a developing area of the world.
The Philippines has a large pool of highly educated and English-proficient workforce, making it perfect for outsourcing tasks that require language proficiency. Along with the lower cost of living, these factors make the Philippines a cost-effective outsourcing destination, providing businesses with skilled talent at a fraction of the cost compared to hiring domestically.
Exactly as you would with any remote employee. Develop this person as you would anyone on your team, give her/him increasing responsibility, train her/him in new areas. As with any employee, the goal is to develop this employee to be an indispensable member of your team, and invaluable to your business.
Literally, exactly the same way you would work with a US-based remote employee – TEAMS, Zoom, email, text, phone – any way you would communicate with a US remote employee you will do the same with overseas.
There is no time difference. Our employees work on whatever time zone you work. The fact is that great numbers of people overseas work on US time; it is a very common and has grown to be part of the culture in some countries. In fact, much of the local economy is geared to accommodate such workers, with shops and restaurants open to these folks.
We will only present candidates who speak English well. English proficiency is our #1 qualification criteria.
There is no contract, and the arrangement can be cancelled at any time for any reason. If you wish to terminate the employee, you can do so without consequence – we request 10 days’ notice, but this is not required.
We will ask you to sign an agreement, but this only to spell out the terms of the arrangement, and the expectations and activities of the employee. It is not binding in any way.
The unfortunate truth is that, as with any employee, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. If this is the case, you can terminate at any time for any reason.
The Philippines has a stable infrastructure, and we ensure that our employees have excellent connectivity.
We will purchase a laptop locally, per your specs. We will bill this laptop to you over a period of 6 months. You will need to provide the employee with access and licenses to whatever software you require.
